Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week on April 7-13, 2025

Hello colleagues,

I invite you all to a campaign I have participated in for many years – Worldwide week for climate education. This is a project from a US institution, but it has spread wide across the world, and unites thousands of student, teachers, and experts in talks, classes, events, and games even! about climate change and justice.

Everyone, and especially young people, can use this as an opportunity to further activism and leadership while making good impact!

The Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week happens on April 7-13, 2025.

They hold webinars every Tuesday at 9 am and 8 pm (New York time) starting January 14 to discuss how you can participate. Learn how to Make Climate A Class and Make Climate An Event and, participate in the first Worldwide Climate and Justice Games Day (April 11, 2025) and play educational games and simulations on that day.

Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week 2024 was a big success with participants in 50 countries holding more than 125 events and more than 360 classes. See Activity Report: WWTI 2024 – Google Docs.

If you or your colleagues do not normally teach about climate but would like to do it and have questions on how to organize a class/session/event, feel free to reach out to me and I will be happy to share my experience and knowledge as much as I can.
