IUCN ECARO: Finance Officer Central Asia

Exciting opportunity to join IUCN’s team in Tashkent, Uzbekistan! We are looking for a Finance Officer to manage financial operations for IUCN’s office in Tashkent and ensure compliance with IUCN policies, donor regulations, and Uzbekistan’s financial regulations.

💼 As Finance Officer, you will:
🔹 Oversee financial operations, accounting, and reporting for the IUCN office in Tashkent.
🔹 Ensure compliance with financial policies, donor requirements, and national regulations.
🔹 Support budgeting, forecasting, and project financial management.
🔹 Work closely with programme teams to track financial performance and ensure smooth implementation.
🔹 Assist in procurement, contract management, and risk assessment.

🌟 Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or project administration; strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy; fluency in English (Russian and/or Uzbek is an asset); and familiarity with financial software (experience with IUCN’s NAV system or other ERP systems is a plus).
