Job Announcement: Expert (Advisor) – GIZ Uzbekistan

GIZ is hiring an Expert (Advisor) to support climate finance initiatives under the Green Central Asia Initiative. The role focuses on strengthening Uzbekistan’s institutional capacity to access international climate finance (especially GCF) and developing a regional GCF project in the AFOLU sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate climate finance activities in Uzbekistan and regionally;

• Support the National Climate Center in project planning and implementation;

• Develop GCF proposals and facilitate stakeholder engagement;

• Enhance institutional capacities in climate finance and project development;

• Monitor project progress and support administrative tasks.
