Women Entrepreneurship EXPO-2024
Please take the opportnity and join the Women Entrepreneurship EXPO-2024 event, which will be held this week from November 13th to November 15th from 10:00 to 22:00, at Dordoi Plaza 2, located at 115 Ibraimov Street, Bishkek. The event is organized by UN Women office in Kyrgyzstan, and it aims to create a dynamic ecosystem that supports women entrepreneurs and innovators, fostering empowerment across Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. At the expo, you will have a chance to explore a diverse array of innovative products and services from women entrepreneurs across various sectors, including logistics, tourism, agriculture, healthcare, education, IT, and more.
As part of the “Kurak – Empowering Women and Girls in Creative Industries” project, the following women entrepreneurs will be showcasing their products during the EXPO:
- – Skeramos/Margarita Baitikova – A woman-founded and woman-led ceramics studio offering handmade products that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design, supporting cultural preservation and empowering women in the creative industry.
- – Akkuchukova Kyal – An artist creating unique handmade scarves using innovative dyeing and painting techniques, making each piece an original work of art that reflects the rich cultural identity of Kyrgyzstan.
- – Alina Khan – A producer of handmade soap made from natural ingredients, promoting sustainable consumption, and supporting the use of local natural resources, while offering an alternative to mass production
- – Chinara Ashimova/Kalbu Argynova – Creator of eco-friendly Christmas ornaments that contribute to conscious consumption and environmental sustainability, supporting an eco-conscious lifestyle through creative and environmentally safe decorations.
Visiting the EXPO would be a great opportunity for us to support female entrepreneurship in the green and art sector in the country.
